We made puff paint on Monday. We explored how people write for a reason. We also write for people. A good way to remember is authors write for P.I.E: to persuade, entertain or to inform.
Today in Maths we learnt how to count on. Our class created a poster in Word to share our learning. Here is our poster:
Marcus learnt how to draw a number line to count on. Christian shared how to count on from the biggest number and Katie F said that she learnt how to count on from any number. She said do not count on from the smallest number. Indra learnt how to write his numbers properly. We got many thumbs up for such a great lesson. Happy Learning,
This is the video that we learn the months of the year. Enjoy!
We have been reading and writing recounts. We have an experience and then we learn how to write a recount about it. Firstly we read a recount and find out how it is structured.
We use little cards to help us find the features.
Then we try and use the information we have learnt to write a good recount. We are having a great time learning.
A sensational way to keep children engaged and switched on to learn is to keep them active. One of the songs that the kids enjoy is the “The Gummy Song”. If you search for the Just Dance Gummy Song, you will find our song!
