We have been learning about Haiku poems in class today. We have learnt that a Haiku poem is a Japanese poem with three sentances in it, but in the 1st and 3rd sentence have only 5 syllables and the 2nd 7 syllables. Here are some great examples that we found on the Internet.
Montana and I have been having great mathematical conferences. This week we spent the time focussing on understanding fractions and the important vocabulary. Montana did an amazing job researching and sharing the information for the cheat sheet. We recommend that you read the sheet every night until you have learnt the important words.
